Here is a new painting I finished recently for Austin Art Garage. I started with a tiny thumbnail scribble and enlarged it a bit, printing out the rough forms in light pink. From there I worked out the sketch in pencil.

Once the sketch was finished, I scanned it into Photoshop and enlarged it to 16x16", printing it onto two sheets of laser stock which I then taped together. I used this crude printout as a guide to create the full-size drawing.

After the drawing was complete, I sealed it with acrylic medium and began painting. The three main colors I used for this piece were: cadmium red medium; phthalo blue (red shade); cadmium orange.
